Before moving to the Unites States in 2016, Thirsa van Til played a variety of theatre-, television and film roles in her home country of The Netherlands. She studied acting in The United States as well as in The Netherlands, where she received her BA in the Arts at the ArtEZ Arts Academy.
Right out of graduation, she worked on the largest theatre productions in Dutch history; the musical SOLDIER OF ORANGE; and the play ANNE; about the life of Anne Frank. She also played the lead roles in the international productions REIGEN AD LIB; which had its US premiere at the Guggenheim museum in New York and KID DYNAMITE; about the life of jazz-legend Kid Dynamite. On television, Thirsa appeared on the Dutch daily soap opera GOOD TIMES, BAD TIMES, MOTIVE FOR MURDER and THE CO-ASSISTENT. On the big screen she can be seen in FALLING APART and 97%.
In the US, she has worked on several film and theater productions, including the pilot series THE GENIUS, starring Gotham-star Andrew Sellon, the play ANNE FRANK LIVES! and the film CONSEQUENTIAL MATTERS; which recently won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Berlin Flash Film Festival.
This year, she can be seen in the CBS pilot series EVIL by Robert & Michelle King, the film LIBERTÉ A TIME TO SPY starring Sarah Megan Thomas and Stana Katic, the third season of Nickelodeon's HUNTER STREET and on stage in the lead role of Andy in KILL FLOOR, written by Abe Koogler and produced by the Roaring Goat Theater Company.
Thirsa is in the US represented by Metropolis Artists Agency (MAA) and in Europe by Performer Agency (Oren Schrijver).
